|
Ciao is one of the leading online survey operators, dedicated to gathering consumer

2. What can Ciao do for me?
|
Joining Ciao will give you a chance to have your say in how the products
and services you use are developed and improved. You’ll get to participate in
surveys concerning consumer goods and services and we’ll make sure that your
opinions reach the ears of the decision-makers. And for every survey that you
take part in, we’ll pay you up to $5 in cash or gifts. |

3. How can I get involved?

After completing you membership sign up you will receive your first invitation

5. What are the benefits of membership?
|
As a Ciao member, you’ll have a real impact on the development
of the products and services of some of the biggest-name manufacturers
and retailers. Your participation will not only be compensated
generously, but it could also give you the chance to see prototype
products, advertisements or concepts before ever they hit the street!
The kind or compensation will always be communicated in the invitation
email you receive. Other incentives as mentioned in the invitation email
cannot be chosen. The nature of the compensation is subject to change.

6. My additional "Member Profiles"
|
When you register to become a Ciao member, we'll ask you a
series of questions about your likes and interests. Fill in as much information as
you can, because the more we know about you, the easier it will be to find a survey
on a subject that interests you. As soon as an appropriate survey comes up, we will
send you an invitation to participate by email. This email will contain a unique URL
link that will take you straight to the questionnaire's web page. Click on the link
and then fill in the questionnaire according to the instructions given. Shortly after
you complete the survey, your reward will be paid into your Ciao account.

7. How will I get paid?
|
Earnings for surveys are paid into your Ciao account. Please notice that you have to have a PayPal account to receive your payment.
When you have reached a minimum account balance of $5, you can request payment through PayPal to your bank account.
If PayPal does not support transfers to a bank account in your
country,
you will only be able to use your money for online transactions, e.g. to shop online.
Some countries
are not supported by PayPal at all. If you live in one of these countries, we are currently unable to pay you.

8. Will I lose my earnings if I forget to request a payout?
|
Once you have reached the payment minimum of $5, then you can request
a paymout whenever you like. However, if you do not log in to the website
and/or participate in a survey at least once during a 6-month period, then
your account balance will be set to zero. So please remember to log on regularly,
which will also give you the chance to keep your profile up to date and increase
the number of surveys to which you will be invited.

9. How do Ciao questionnaires work?
|
When you register to become a Ciao member, we’ll ask you a series of

10. How long does it take to complete a Ciao survey?
|
Exactly how long a survey takes to complete depends on the subject matter
and level of detail required. However, an average survey should take about
10-20 minutes. |

11. How can I receive more survey invitations?
|
To improve your chances of being selected for surveys, please make sure your member profiles are complete and up-to-date. We use the profile information to find surveys that are right for you. So the more accurate information you give us, the more surveys you can qualify to take. |

12. What are Ciao surveys about?
|
Ciao surveys cover an enormously wide range of topics, from consumer goods and
services, to films or new advertising campaigns. In the course of a year, you
might be invited to surveys on subjects as diverse as cars and cosmetics, airlines
and aerobics, banks and breakfast cereals. |

13. Can I unsubscribe later?
|
Of course: all participation in Ciao surveys in on a voluntary basis. You are free
to withdraw your consent and cancel your membership at any time by going to the
”Edit Membership” section of your individual member area and clicking ”Edit Membership”. |

14. I’m worried about spam. What protection does Ciao offer against unsolicited email?
|
Ciao guarantees that it will only use your e-mail address with your
active consent for the purposes stated in the Terms and Conditions of
membership. We will not sell your e-mail address on to any third parties
and, as far as it is in our power to do so, we will prevent your e-mail
address from being "harvested" by web "crawlers" or "spiders". Should
you believe that your e-mail address has been harvested in this way, please
let our technical support team know without delay. |

15. What is Paypal?
|
Paypal, an eBay company, is the world's largest online payment service, and
joining is free. Once you open a Paypal account on Paypal's secure website,
you can receive payments to your bank account simply by providing your
Paypal e-mail address. Click here

16. I see a "Payment failed" message in my account. What does that mean?
That means the Paypal address you gave us was invalid or incomplete, so we could not process the payment. The money has been returned to your Ciao Account so that you can request it again. First, please correct your Paypal address to make sure that future payments
are not lost.
Note: as per our website Terms and Conditions, we are only able to pay you by Paypal. We cannot pay by cheque or by any other means.
